I spent a weekend in Denver, and it was perfect. Thursday night one of my best friends picked me up from the airport (where I was expecting Drew) and took me on a scavenger hunt, complete with rhyming clues and including 3 of my favorite ladies! It ended of course by finding him and a very yummy desert at The Melting Pot!

I did a bunch of wedding things. Flowers, cake, photography, site visit, wedding dress shopping (and finding:) It was very successful, and I had some wonderful help! I love planning the wedding because I can't wait to be married!

We also got to spend some very fun time with some of our friends, all in all it was a great time. I have an amazing guy to spend my life with and we have great friends to spend our time with.

Gina may have found a dress. No...she did, she just hasn't bought it yet. She is in Colorado now and we are having a great time. Kel's treatment is over in 4 days! She has been a champ through this, and so has my bride to be. Please pray we come out of this better than when we started.

So its been a rough couple of months...but we are persevering. I am more excited than ever to marry my Gina. The lack of stress will be nice in the future, but growth only comes through hardships. We are anxious but I know God works out everything that happens for good.

Love is in the air...

Soooo many of the people we know are getting married, just got married or at least are in love.

Drew's brother just got married last weekend and it was so much fun to celebrate with them. His family kept kidding with us about moving our wedding date up. As tempting as that gets, we held our ground! We even had a pastor offering to marry us at the rehearsal dinner! :)

This wedding really made us excited for ours!! I can't wait to celebrate with everyone we love.

Green Power Rangers!

So, Drew and I stopped in to say hello to the Renshaw's last night. All three kiddos are in the wedding and they were talking with Drew about their jobs. (they are very excited) Sydney (5,flower girl) asks me all the time, "Is it the wedding day?"

So, Luke (3,ring bearer) and Drew start to chat and by the end of the conversation all the kids were going to be wearing their halloween costumes in the wedding! THATS why brides do most of the planning folks, or else everyone would end up in power ranger costumes!

I thought it was very cute. They love Drew and he just doesn't know how to say no to them yet!

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

Drew and I can definatly get caught up in wedding planning and forget to just enjoy each other. Today I got flowers at work and a card with a special note to remind me that we aren't getting married to have a wedding. We are getting married because we love each other and we want to spend the rest of our lives loving each other, chasing after The Lord and loving others.

So, I left work with a very good feeling about life... and the man who has chosen me to share his with.

They did my friends wedding that I was in about a year ago and I really liked them. I am even in a few pictures on their website :) I contacted them, they remembered me and are excited to work with us!

We will meet with them the beginning of November and talk about specifics and see how much they like kids because half of our wedding party is under the age of 11!! :)
