Heading back to Mexico...
Drew and I leave for Mexico Sunday morning! We are really excited to be going together this year and taking about 21 people from our church. Last year I went solo with a big group of people that I barely knew. I came back with wonderful friendships and really fun memories. Jason and Adrienne led our team and this year they have encouraged and blessed Drew and I by trusting the trip to us!
A year ago I sat on a dusty bed at Motel Sanchez and chatted the day away with a beautiful woman I barely knew. I could not have even imagined what my God had in store for me. I knew that she had hope and faith that I had only dreamed of...I didn't know that He wanted it for me too. I didn't know that over the next year He would use that woman and more that I didn't even know yet, to teach me about who He is, to teach me about hope, joy, peace, faith, truth... how to use frosting as lipstick and much more ;)
This was just going to be a post about how we were going to Mexico, but as I sit here and write I realize that this marks a year for some really special things in my heart. Some really cool beginnings.
This summer I go back with new hope, healing, grace and truth that The Lord has given me this past year through Adrienne's friendship. I can't believe the life and healing that one year has brought. God is who He says He is and He really does make all things new.
Drew and I have been truly blessed in our first year of marriage. We are loved, challenged, encouraged, enjoyed and prayed for by amazing people. The Lord has placed them in our lives and we couldn't be more thankful.
So, as we head back to that dusty little town in Mexico to love on people and learn more about the character of Christ I ask you to pray for us. Pray for the people we will meet, for us as leaders and for the people on our team. Who knows, maybe this year will mark some really cool beginnings for another girl just sitting on a dusty bed at Motel Sanchez who catches a glimpse of a hope that has the power to change everything.

My greatest blessing...
I know that he loves me, everyday, no matter what. I can't imagine life with out him. I know The Lord loves me, but the fact that he gave me this man puts it over the top!
Random post, I know. But it's my blog and my husband rocks.

Our race in Steamboat and Happy Birthday Noah Steven
We ran our race in Steamboat on Sunday! Our close friend Martha decided to come up with us at the last minute and ran the half marathon :) She is an over-achiever and we totally love her!
The race was great and we were so glad that we did it and so glad that we got the honor to run in memory of Noah Steven. Tomorrow (June10th) is Noah's birthday, Happy Birthday cutie boy! We are so glad that God gave you to your sweet family for those 7 months.
We had a blast in Steamboat...

A Grand Adventure!
Most of you all know that Adrienne and I launched The Well Radio on Thursday! We had our first show and it was so much fun!!! We had a great time and got wonderful feedback. We have already seen how the show is being used to encourage listeners and we are so excited to see what God has in store :)
If for some reason you don't know what I am talking about, click here: http://www.thewellradio.com/
Our really wonderful and handsome husbands took us out to dinner to celebrate and we had even more fun! Our husbands totally rock.
We forgot to take any pictures of us at our first show, or right before, or even right after...but we did take some while we were celebrating...

Janie's first sleepover :)
We had the pleasure of spending about 24 hours with sweet and beautiful baby Jane while her parents spent a night "away". It was her first sleepover so we wanted to document it :)
She was sooo sleepy in this picture that she could barely keep her head from laying on my chest...so sweet :)
Ready for church! We had so much fun with Janie, it was hard to give her back. She was ALL smiles when she saw her pretty mommy again at lunch the next day! We hope Chad and Rachel decide to take a night away again soon!

random snapshots from my "April" folder :)
Things have been so busy lately, and really only promise to get busier. I wanted to take a minute to share some pieces of daily life, the people that make my heart full, my voice heard, my soul refreshed and my schedule booked :) Once a month or so Drew and I look around and are just amazed at how The Lord has blessed us this past year. He is good, our life is good. I picked some random favorites to share from the last month...
