The wedding was perfect. Beautiful day, wonderful people and a very handsome groom :)
I really can't complain about one minute of it. Tony did a great job on the ceremony, we loved it and have gotten many compliments on it as well. I had wonderful women taking care of me and my every need all day, well all weekend for that matter. Jess, my personal attendant rocked everything. The whole day ran smoothly and wonderfully because of her! I could thank a million people...

Hello everybody ( I don't think anyone even reads this actually :)

We are so close to the big day, I really can't wait for everyone to be out here!!!!

We got some really sad news last night. Drew's best man and best friend since childhood is serving us in the Air Force and will not be able to attend after all. This is a huge disappointment because Nick is very special to Drew and to me and the day won't be the same with out him. But we are proud of him for serving our country.

Other than that, not a lot to report. Just tying up loose ends and getting more excited every day!

Less than a month

I will add pictures soon but I wanted to do an update.

My cousin Melissa threw me a great shower this weekend and it was a lot of fun!
I am moved into our new place and we are slowly filling it up :) We only have a few loose ends to tie up in the next few weeks and then we will just wait for our big day!!!

We are so excited for the wedding and even more excited to be married...finally!

Drew and I signed a lease on a townhome and we are very excited about it. I move in, in 3 weeks!!!! We wanted to get it early so we can gradually move stuff in and purchase new things. I think Drew is jealous that I get to live there first! We realized that now we have a cute little townhouse but really nothing to put in it! We will use that month before the wedding to buy things like a bed, kitchen table...you know just minor things :)

56 days !

We ordered our cake, signed a lease, registered, bought my shoes :) and got to spend time with some really great friends over pizza! It was beautiful weather and a wonderful Saturday overall.

Everyone should be getting their invitations very soon! We really can't wait to be married and to get to celebrate with all of you!

On the road again...

I am leaving yet again this weekend...but I get to bring Drew and Andi with me ! Two of my very favorite people all to myself on our journey to Iowa and back.

Most of the invitations are addressed...now they just need to be sealed and sent...we are getting closer. We wanted to get them out before we left but then decided that we would rather not fight and like each other this week then get our invitations sent :) So, we chilled out on them and had a much better week because of it.

Lord, I am amazed by You...

how You love me.

home...again.

My time in Florida was really great. I got to spend fun time with two kiddos that I miss, soak up wonderful weather, eat good food, drink really good wine and go for awesome runs.

But most of all I was pretty alone, my cell phone barely worked and I finally slowed down enough to be able to sit and be with The Lord. I read and journaled and sat and thought and heard. I felt His presence with me and saw His work all around me. I came home with a new peace, new perspectives and possibly new parts of my heart tingling themselves awake. Cool, huh :)

Home is good, except the snow and cold and to do list a mile long :) It is a good busy though. Good that we have so many wonderful friends to spend time with, good to be finishing up details on our wedding! Good to have a list of things we need to do together :)

Drew was super fiance and got a lot done on our invitations while I was gone, so we will be sending them out very soon :)

Easter, airplanes, sunny days at the pool and Disney World

So, today Drew and I tackled a lofty "to do" list and we completed it!! We are even about to end our day spending time with one of my favorite couples :)

So, I fly to Florida tomorrow to go on a family vacation with the Walkers. I used to take care of their kiddos and this will be my 2nd year going on this trip with them. They are wonderful people and I really enjoy my time with them and the kids. Mary is 4 and my little sidekick princess who belts out songs with me and holds nothing back. Bailey is 6 and smart and quiet yet equally fun to spend time with. We stay with Pop Tom and Baba. They are great and kind and generous. Overall, I am very much looking forward to this trip, but pretty bummed to be leaving again so soon.
Most of all I am sad that I won't get to go to our new church for Easter service with Drew. We will go to a super early service at a random church before he takes me to the airport but it won't be the same. Easter means more and more to me each year. I am just amazed by the vast amount of love that My God has for me...because to be quite honest I deserve none of it. We have a Great God.

Getting stuff done!

I have my wedding dress, rings, gifts for the ladies standing up with me, getting a little closer to sending out invitations...but mostly we are just enjoying being together and spending time with the people we love.

Home Sweet Home

I am home. I suprised Drew. He met up with a group of our friends last night and I was there too! We got a bunch of wedding stuff done today and I am just going to keep soaking up all the people I love here. I didn't realize how much my heart missed these people until now when I get to be back with them. The countdown is on...lets see if I can get inviations out now! :)

My girls have their dresses...they are going to look beautiful :) I couldn't have better woman to be with me June 15th, but better yet, every other day too.

The boys are a little slower on the uptake...we are just hoping they all have their clothes by June! I am not too worried, Drew has some pretty great guys on his side too :) (and they all have women in their lives to help :)

I will be home by next week, and then I will finish up wedding things and soak up time with all the people I have missed so much! Just in time to pack up again and spend a week in Florida with a family I used to nanny for. I will enjoy my time there (and my first income in 4 months :) but once I am home from that, I am not leaving for a while!
